Turkish poet, Islamic teacher, Hafiz of the Quran, and mujahid known as "Abdullah Hoca." He participated in the Bosnian War and later traveled to Chechnya, where he was killed in 2001 (may Allah accept him). He was known for his beautiful Quran recitation, his recitation of poems among his companions, and his lifelong aspiration for martyrdom.
