Deleting your account

You can delete your Inshadi account yourself, at any time. You do not need to ask us, and you do not need the app.

From your account

Sign in at inshadi.com, open your profile menu and choose Delete account. You will be asked to confirm by typing the word DELETE, and for your password if your account has one. It takes effect immediately.

If you cannot sign in

If you have lost access to the account, message us on Telegram at https://t.me/AbuSulaimanTG from the account's email address or with enough detail to identify it, and ask for deletion. We will confirm before removing anything.

What is deleted

Your profile, email address and password hash. Your comments. Your playlists and favourites. Your follows. Your notification settings and any device registered for notifications.

What may remain

Audio you contributed that has already been published to the library may stay, credited to its author, because other people's playlists and links point at it. Ask us if you want a specific recording removed as well and we will consider it.

Anonymous play counts are not tied to your account and are not affected.

How long it takes

Deleting from your profile is immediate. A request sent to us is handled within 30 days, and normally within a few days.
